Modern Quilt Exhibit in Texas
The Texas Quilt Museum welcomes you to its Autumn exhibition from September 24-December 30 with dazzling modern quilts!
It’s in a historic 1890s building called La Grange that about 50 quilts will be displayed. They are the subject of two big themes: Flying High: For the Love of Birds and Picture Perfect: Quilts by Cynthia England.
Flying High: For the Love of Birds
This year, our feathered friends are the exhibition’s stars with 41 quilts in their effigy ! Texas Quilt Museum’s co-directors Karey Bresenhan and Nancy O’Bryant Puentes curated these bountiful patchworks in order to commemorate these key links in our ecosystems.
